Thinking too much

You're right. Sometimes we all think too much. That chatterbox in my head keeps me so busy thinking about everything else but writing. When I finally can get quiet enough, usually in the woods, I somehow manage to feel the deeper undercurrent, and can sometimes even pull out some words.
Keep listening - but try to tune out that Chatterbox.
Try rocking!
Good luck.

Gloria;

I LOVE being in the woods!!!! I spent two whole days--with breaks for lunch and to catch up on the news--cutting wood. I can work until 8:00 p.m and still have time for a walk. We saw 10 or 11 deer the other night and the turkeys are really putting on a show for the ladies. I watched a couple out the window at lunch and couldn't believe the irredescent feathers. If you can get past that grotesque head few birds are as finely featherd. Reminded me of the Biblical Joseph's coat-of-many-colors. And with all the spring flowers waiting in the wings, it's just going to get better and better.

SOOOO glad to hear from both of you. Somehow between work and home I've gotten lost, but I'm making my way back, one step after the other. One word after the other.

The woods, hmmm, maybe I'll give that a try as well. Although we are putting flooring (brazilian cherry--see there's some wood right there!), so life is pretty hectic. Glad for some time off from work. And I promise to send Black Dragon out this week. I'll even post about it. : )

It's good to see SOMEONE posting here again. I was just checking in to see if I need to give Sarah a bump. --Mark
